EFT Tapping Explained

EFT Tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique is a gentle tapping technique inspired by the ancient art of acupuncture, acupressure, and the energy systems in the body. It is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. By tuning into issues that have caused a disturbance in the body’s energy system while tapping on a specific point brings relief from a physical and psychological standpoint. The disturbance are negative emotions, negative meaning uncomfortable and emotion meaning energy in motion. EFT has been used to effectively treat people experiencing anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Meridian points are areas of the body where energy flows through. Any imbalance in these areas can create dis-ease or sickness in the body. Acupuncture uses needles to apply pressure to these points, EFT uses fingertip tapping to apply pressure.

Essentially, you are communicating with your subconscious mind. Think of it as a “somatic pep talk”. When we tap while vocalizing challenges we are able to quickly resolve issues, move past fear, and other unhelpful emotions. Keyonna will guide you through the clinical protocol for tapping. Make time to practice this regularly and watch your life change around you.
